  12. We have recently installed cable telephone lines to support our modem connections.

  14. Connection via CompuSErve on Zoom V34 28K modems can only be successfully acheived
  15. by setting the telephone connection in the script to PULSE rather than TONE.
  16.  
  17. Obviously, this is much slower and a bit of a pain!

  19. Any ideas why this happens?  I have checked with the cable supplier and the lines ARE Tone
  20. compatible!
